KITTIWAKE ANNUAL OPERATOR LICENSE PURCHASE & RENEWAL 2024-25 

 
Conditions of License
  1. Commercial Licensed Operators must be members of CITA in good standing.
  2. Only licensed operators are allowed access to Kittiwake.  Any individual or company that visits the Kittiwake without a license and the required medallions/bracelets will be trespassing on a privately operated attraction and will be subject to any normal action against trespassers as provided by the laws of the Cayman Islands.
  3. Licensed operators must sign and agree to adhere to Safety Rules and Operations Guideline governing the Kittiwake (document provided during registration process).
  4. Operators must carry underwater liability insurance of a minimum of $1,000,000USD per incident for divers and $2,000,000 USD per incident for snorkelers. Proof of paid and active policy that co-insures the Cayman Island Tourism Association and the Cayman Islands Government, for the term of each license term year, must be forwarded to info@caymanvisitor.com. License will not be issued until all documentation is received.
  5. I agree to abide by SAFETY STANDARDS, REGULATIONS AND OPERATING GUIDELINE for visits to the Kittiwake. Please print and submit to info@caymanvisitor.com.

Additional Info

CITA Watersports Membership Fee

  • Operators (1 Vessel) - $150KYD
  • Operators (1-3 Vessels) - $300KYD
  • Operators (4+ Vessels) - $500KYD 

Commercial Vessel License

Licence fees are as follows:

  • $150 KYD ($187.50 USD) for the first commercial vessel license/decal registration
  • $75 KYD ($93.75 USD) for each additional vessel license/decal

Dive Medallions & Snorkel Bracelets

In addition to annual operator licence fees, ALL visitors to the Kittiwake, are required to  purchase a Medallion (divers) or a Bracelet/Wristband (snorkelers) for each visit.  Costs are as follows:

  • $10.00 USD per person per Dive Medallion
  • $5.00 USD per person per Snorkeler Bracelet

 Please note strict enforcement will begin by July 15, 2024

 Registration for the Kittiwake License registration may also completed in the traditional format (in USD or KYD) at the CaymanVisitor office located at the airport next to the Dollar/Thrifty Rental Car office.  Office hours are 9am to 4pm Monday through Saturdays – feel free to reach out to us at 345-326-2701 or email info@caymanvisitor.com.
